Yamaha is one of the few that haven't been bought out over and over correct?- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Yamaha considers themselves to be primarily a music company rather than just an AV company. They just happen to make home audio AV receivers, stereo separates, and speakers on the side.

Exactly @Emlyn, they also make all types of musical instruments.

Yamaha is one of the few companies that is just good at making everything they make in my experience- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.

Still have kind of a soft spot in my head heart for ol' Nippon Gakki.

You're just jealous 'cause the voices don't talk to you! -
Yamaha motors has been a separate company from Nippon Gakki since it's founding in 1955.
And many of those companies owned by Voxx haven't produced product in years, like Energy speakers. Although for some odd reason Klipsch keeps the website active.
Sad what has happened to the Audio industry. Wonder what becomes of Pioneer and Onkyo/Integra, since they are a joint venture between Voxx and Sharp? I know Sharp does all the manufacturing, but they also have some ownership. So they don't really exist anymore either. -
Will Emotiva survive?! 😜
Maybe they should buy Sound United… 🤔
* P.S. weren’t they for sale, or something, too? 🤷♂️Alea jacta est! -
📣 UPDATE! 📣
Masimo Inc. got a new CEO this week. She will take the reins on February 12. Her background, unsurprisingly, is resolutely healthcare oriented.
Katie Szyman will take over from interim CEO Michelle Brennan who has been named Chairman of the Board.
Maybe this will help speed up the sale of Sound United. 🤷♂️
The Wall Street Journal
Meanwhile, MASI stock has gained 55% in the past six months, compared to 11, 13 and 16% respectively for the DJIA, SPX and NDX. Investors clearly approve for obvious reasons.
