Polk LSI15 - losing volume / SPL output after few hours of playback

Hi, my polk LSI15's seem to lose volume with continued play time on my tube amp ( 4 ohm connection ) - they start off reasonably well but then after playing for a few hours, seem to quieten down about 3 -6db vs before. I have them turned off for now, will check again in the morning but I have a dats audio V2 and took some impedance measurements - speaker dips down to 3 ohms at 100Hz and also dips down to 3 ohm in the 2-3KHz range - Is that normal? Has anyone plotted these to see how low an impedance they go? They are rated at 4 ohms but they also seem to go up to 20 ohms between 20 Hz and again at some higher frequencies.. Will try to share the impedance plot in next post.

Impedance varies with frequency, so the answer to your question is yes, it is normal.Political Correctness'.........defined

Understood, question is should it be dropping that low at any frequency though?

Yes, many 4 ohm speakers drop as low as 2 ohm. It's not unusual by any means.
