    Not just Tiki tube amplifiers...
    Flaming Tiki tube amplifiers...

    ahem.
That said... I've gotta say, I wouldn't kick the JJ 2A3s that are currently in my "JELabs" (more or less) amp out for eating crackers in bed -- so to speak.

    Now that's a MAN'S car!!!
A neighbor had one when I was young, my dad asked as he pulled up in the street one day "whatcha got in that thing" he stomped on it, all I remember was two long black lines all the way down the street, for like a mile it seemed. I thought it was cool as hell, my dad thought he was an idiot 😄😄😄

Dude, you're right!! This car was a bad azz. My dad had one in beige. He also let me drive it to school when I was a sophomore in high school...big mistake lol....454 four-barrel carb. I raced Trans Ams and Camaros.....the car held it's own....until I seized it one morning racing "to" school. The motor made a loud knock and shook the front end and that was all she wrote. I don't know what happened to it but in retrospect it might have been the crank....talk about a dad getting pizzed off. He was not happy, but he rarely was in those days when it came to his out of control son.... :D

I Corps in '68 especially the Marines from Hue north to the DMZ were too busy! Being shelled, shelling back and firefights. Nice thought though! :)
