I use two Schiit Vidars for my 1C’s. I emailed customer service to ask if I could make them common ground by running a wire from one to the other. I got back a response from Jason saying it was a bad idea. “Like BOOM! “ That’s how he put it. So I got a 625 VA A-G transformer and is connected the two speakers through it.

Correct. Running stereo amps in mono can not be made common ground. Using a dreadnought is the only way that will work going into SDA's

Harman Kardon T65C w/Grado Gold. (Don't laugh. It sounds great!)
