    I sold the 7B's a little while back. I never hooked them up. Just have SDA's and Monitor 10's now. But I would liked to have tried this mod but never thought about it really.

    Russ I believe the side firing woofers are suppose to be on the inside firing towards each other with that particular model.(?)

    The one thing I have found with the side firing woofer speakers is that it is completely dependent upon the room itself as to what actually sounds better. FWIW. YMMV.

    @recoveryone - I have this sneaking suspicion that you like bass....😉😀
