The North Star Design Supremo DAC is head and shoulders above its price point…

I recommend you consider upgrading to Supremo… Of which, I have two different chassis options

I reckon, I’m the only one in the world that has this available in 120 V USA option

I’m really looking at the Denafrips Pontus II as well. All the ANK Dacs are simply too large to fit my rack, I’m tapped out especially if I’m gonna keep the 851N in the mix for awhile.

Pontus II gets my vote. You can compare it to your delta-sigmas, and it will give you a fresh taste re: how analog-like digital can sound.

Since you like the 851N, I would hang onto it. It has a nice display, plenty of connections, and a proper power supply.

    Good luck!

Go on amazon and pick up the Gustard r26. With Amazon return policy, you can try it out and if you don't like it, return it.

What cable would you use between the Cambridge and whatever dac you pick up?

Right now I have an Audience Ohno coax from the 851N to the Intenso. Would probably just start with that
