If you are looking for a great sounding spdif cable for not a lot of coin, take a look(listen) to this. I have one and it is just as good as my $300+ Black Cat cable.

The one with the nice purr that occasionally bites you if you pet him too much, but he means well and he's a good boy.

They're using Canare RCA ends. Those are very good ends, I've made many a cable with those.

I heard this cable at Marvin's awhile back. We were just bounding between a few coax cables. I was pretty impressed with this one, and I was somewhat shocked once Marvin showed me the price.

no, i got the one in my link just with bnc. i don't know the difference in the word clock one and the 75 ohm coaxial.
I just asked the question on amazon if the two are the same cable just with different connectors.

just got some answers on amazon. seems they are the same cable, but if you can use bnc it is $5 cheaper than the rca version.

I like the idea of BNC. Seems like a great way to refine/shorten/purify the signal path further if BNC is an option with the gear, since you're not handing off to a blocky RCA, sometimes of unknown material quality or termination. When I obsess about these things, that is.

somewhere i read that it sounds better to start with a bnc connection even if you use an rca adaptor than to go straight rca.
