Glad for those expecting a pair.

FWIW, on the product page, it does show 2 speakers but does not say "pair" like the L series and the
    S series.

In the cart it shows 2 speakers but does not say "pair".

D'oh, appears to be confusion on my part.

Oh well, no blood no foul.

Any tricks on finding this 10% stackable coupon? I turned off pop up blockers, tried different browsers, still nothing that I can find...

If you select “Specifications” you’ll find

    UOM (Sold as). Pair

I’m assuming UOM is unit of Measure but that is very hard to find and confusing.

I don’t know why the confusion…. Clearly says right on the main page that the 200s and 100s are sold as a “pair”.

Although, I was disappointed to see the price is actually higher once you click on the item. Every Reserve speaker has a lower price listed on the series main page than when you click on the actual item. Main (series) page has the R200 pair at $699. When you click on the item, price for all three finishes is $749…

Weird, that image I posted is from the “Reserve Series” link in Carl’s first post. When you navigate to the reserve series from the PolkAudio.com home page, the prices are different. Wonder if the original link was to an archived or older page with lower prices. Regardless when you click on the speakers, prices go up to current prices on the site.

I was smitten with the R200 at PolkFest. I definitely don't need another pair of speakers in my house, but at this sort of discount I can't really pass them up.

    That's the spirit!

I may "need" a new pair of speakers for my kitchen. Hmmmm.

My wife would disagree...I'm pretty close to max, but I may order a pair before the weekend is up. The living room has been getting by with a very old pair of Mirage M-290 for almost a decade. This might be a decent replacement.

It doesn't seem like buying the R700 is an option on the polk site.
    They are coming soon.

Noticed that as well. Also, looks like the R700's don't come in white? ;)

The R700s were never manufactured in white.

Just ordered a pair. I think its a pair.

Down by the price it says x1. Who knows.....

I hope you are right, because I did the same. :|
Yeah, the customer ordering experience left a little to be desired. More than a little, in fact. It was tedious.
Crutchfield, e.g., clearly calls out the $749 (list) price as being for a pair -- but not the Polk site. :/

I got a shipment confirmation email today, which was good. The email came mot from "Polk" or even "Sound United", but rather from Definitive Technologies, which struck me as... less good. :/

I got a confirmation also but it only shows 1 speaker.

I then got a reminder email asking if I forgot something???

I called CS, spoke to a lady somewhere that I really couldn't understand.

I ask her about the promotion code, told her it was made available via the polk forum.
She had no idea what the polk forum was or the discount code.

Don't get me wrong, she was friendly just not to sure about the discount codes.

**She did verify that my order was for only 1 speaker.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's AWESOME for Polk to do these promotions and discounts, but I also
saw at Crutchfield they have them same speaker as a pair for $749.00.

Due to the confusion, I just cancelled my order. Sure hope my cc gets refunded ok???

I am sorry about the confusion here.

All Polk bookshelf speakers are sold in pairs. This post made me realize that for Reserve, this is inconsistently communicated on our website. I just filed a ticket with our web team to ask them to update that to be more clear.

I also have forwarded this post to customer service, to make sure they also know this (I'm surprised they did not), and if you will PM me the email address that you used for the order, I will also make sure that your refund is issued (if it has not already happened).

Again, enough of us at PF all had pretty much the same impressions.....but, excited to hear what others think....

My pair of R200’s came in today. Rush hookup but this weekend is my sons wedding so no real listen time until Sunday or after.

I like the black finish. It’s not shiny and not an attempt to look like painted wood.

Better bass than L100’s but that should not be a surprise.

Almost the same size but a bit deeper.

    So far so good…

So they do have grills! None of the photos at Polk show the grill. Crutchfield has grill photos for the brown and white, but not the black. I was starting to wonder...

The R700 what i tried to get with the code and it says out of stock. Now debating if I should do the 600 or hold off completely.

    You can “stack” discount codes.

On visiting the site I was offered 10% off with a code for signing up for offers.

On checkout I used both codes and it gave me both.

    200’s on the way.

    Math… numbers… ick

Stacked - 10% off total and then this discount from that total.

Still a good deal but figuring that invoice out was a big deal to this math challenged village idjit!!

It is not giving me a 10%off option. Even tried a different computer. You got lucky!!

R600+R400+R200 ordered. Will compare to Focal Chora which are pretty impressive too for their entry level speakers.

Regarding the R600, I've always been impressed with Polk's next to biggest towers, especially for home theater use with subwoofers in the system and in a medium room. Sometimes they've been better in important ways than the larger model. I almost only ordered a single R600 but then my coffee kicked in and I realized that would be dumb. I have a strong feeling I'm going to love this line of speakers.
