Polk Omni S6 - Firmware update problem

Hello
Since the last update for the Polk Omni S6, speakers reboot in a loop every 1/2 minutes.
I see them appear on my Wifi network (2.4Ghz, 802.11n), I can ping them for about 15 seconds, and then they reboot.
I have 6 speakers, and all of them do the same thing after working fine for 2 years.
What can I do?
Where can I find old firmware and the USB upload tool?
Do you have any suggestion ?
Please find below a screenshot of ping (3 on my 6 Polk Omni S6 speakers)
Thanks for your help

I recommend sending this information to: Kim.Jasper@soundunited.com

Same here. I tried to enter in the standard setup mode and WPS to reconfigure, but nothing.
Next, I'll try this play-fi.com/faq/entry/how-to-do-a-manual-speaker-update -
Here to echo your situation and see if you ever came up with a resolution. I have 2 S6 that bricked after an update, along with an SB1+ soundbar. After some back and forth with support, they issued me some directions and files for a manual update of the speakers (Note, different from what is in the link Gelo posted). The directions and the file worked great for the SB1+, it is now back working. The S6, I tried multiple times on both of them, and both appear to be doing some form of boot looping. After plugging in, the amber light blinks three times, the white light blinks three times, I hear a very soft "tick" noise (like an amp being turned on to the speakers) then nothing. No response to any buttons, and no ability to add them to the network. This repeats maybe every 30-60 seconds.

I believe this is something Polk is aware of, it is a Play-Fi issue that Polk is working with them to solve. If you contact Kim.Jasper@soundunited.com he will update you as the solution is worked out. From what I gather I believe it is close to being fixed.

I've got support telling me that this is a hardware issue. I sent the link to this thread and the fact that this seems pretty confirmed as a software issue and CC'd Kim.Jasper@soundunited.com. Also that Kim.Jasper@soundunited.com is close to a fix, and they pretty much disregarded it. Maybe I'll try emailing Kim directly and see if I can get any more information.

I believe Kim is finishing up a week's vacation, he'll be back this coming Monday, I believe.

Hi - I had the same issues with my S6s. Contact Kim or the folks at Phorus (phorussupport@xperi.com). They'll send out the files to reset the MCU. I was successful in reconnecting my S6s to my network and now they all work perfectly.

Wdt, would you mind sharing the files and instructions that worked to get your sb1+ working again?
-
I'm not sure how I'd get the files to you, I'll private message you and see if we can work something out.
-
@vinfurnier Maybe you can also share the files/instructions you got for your S6s? I got a set of files from Kim, but they seemed to go through and upgrade process without affecting any changes at all.
-
@wdt , I posted the instructions that worked for vinfurnier and for me at https://forum.polkaudio.com/discussion/194816/need-help-reviving-my-omni-6#latest . I can't send you the files right now.

Hi, I have the same issue, where I can download this new firmware?

Kim can provide you.

I have a similar problem with two S5 speakers. Went to Kim who provided the new firmware but my two S5 speakers wouldn’t take it and are now both are bricked. The case was escalated but since I bought through Amazon, they say the dealers were unauthorized and the speakers unrepairable so, there was nothing they could do. UNREPAIRABLE! Does anyone have ideas that could help? In the meantime I started to shop Sonos to replace my whole house system. I feel I have no choice.
