    ❤️the tonal depth of everything just draws you into the music , there’s nothing I’ve listened too that sounds off or fatiguing ! I’m just amazed of the texture inside the dynamics of the SDA envelope.
    Studio quality all day long .
    Blows my mind to think what a top quality dac and amp are capable of bringing to the party?

    The braces will absolutely need to be installed without negative or positive pressure, unless the front baffle has warped over time ,which I have yet to look into.
    I’m still open minded ,in regards to the dowels material of choice!.

    Love the threaded timbre !

    Love the threaded lock nut dowel with manly twist , it reminds me of a shock absorber,I have visions of this fit being so tight here ,that it takes allot of force to compress, reminding me of the passive leak test procedure. Add glue to this chamber ,This would guarantee absolute neutral pressure until the glue sets and give room between two fixed surfaces <3 .

    I’d describe The KLF, Bill Drummond and Jimmy Cauty, as anarchists. They released sample-heavy music that challenged copyright laws. ABBA sued them and won over their 1987 debut album release over heavy Dancing Queen sampling. They burned some of the albums in a Swedish field which later became album art for their next album, Who Killed The JAMs? They are credited with originating stadium house sound. I have some of their stuff on vinyl and lots on digital.

    Some of their most infamous accomplishments, they videotaped burning 1 million quid on the island of Jura. At the 1992 Brit Awards Bill, where they won Best British Group, but were annoyed at having to share it with the group Simply Red. After their performance on stage, Drummond fired blank rounds from a machine gun over the heads of the star-studded audience. Then they laid a dead sheep at the entrance of an Awards after party door, retired from the music industry, and deleted their back catalogue.

    I lurk in the shadows on so many threads like this one. Putting energy and passion into SDA’s is always rewarding. Love it! The KLF comments reminded me that their release from a few years back “Come Down Dawn” is absolutely mind blowing on SDA’s. The album is a reworked version of their classic “Chill Out” which follows an imaginary trip from Brooklyn to Mexico City. It feels like it was remixed specifically for SDA! Almost constantly there are sounds and audible “objects” all around if you listen with your eyes closed. The steel guitar samples in “Baltimore to Fair Play” are haunting! What a trip! Well mixed. And the sub-sonics are sometimes very surprising in a very cool way. Give ‘er a whirl! I’m curious to hear your impressions. 👍🏻👍🏻

    I thoroughly enjoyed listening to KLF"Last Train to Trancentral and Come Down Dawn"I look forward to another sitting when the noise floors lower in the evening this week.Its locked into Tidal and I'll be scrolling through all their play lists. Train To Trancentral,I can remember clubbing to this ...Pumping Memories <3 .I found "Come Down Dawn"very relaxing.Love all the ambient sound effects from the train,steel guitar,to the sheep and bells.My wife's a Kiwi and she felt right at home with the BAAAAINNG going on.The subsonic sounds just cruise through the system <3 I had no idea KLF was smashing it out from the late 80's and having the biggest selling singles act in the world in 1991. Impressive!
    They certainly have a big following ,I've heard quite a few of their riffs over the years which I only just noticed whilst going through a few of their older recordings. I look forward to scrolling through more and hunting down some of their hidden mixes that were removed due to streaming licensing agreements.

    I love the way music shakes our memories. Enjoy it while we can : )

    This opened my ears via streaming via a Nvidia shield tv pro to my projector/oppo..All streaming is now done by Lumin.I must say the switch has increased the sound quality immensely to the nvidia!

    Ever play any Talk Talk through them?

    I’ve owned SDA’s and have served as intermediary for local sales and out of town folks. Talk Talk, The Colour of Spring is one of my demo albums in my Discwasher DiscKeeper record rack. Like a reviewer said, don’t worry if you hate ‘80’s music or haven’t listened to Talk Talk before. Talk Talk's synth-pop past disappeared with the release of their third studio album, The Colour of Spring in 1986.

    The first track, Happiness is Easy features guitar, electric and acoustic bass, real drums, three live percussionists, organ by Steve Winwood, piano, Kurzweil synthesizer, a children’s choir along with Hollis’s distinctive nasally vocals. Happiness is Easy on SDA’s is like a masterclass in imaging.

    Some of it with my 2013 system featuring active xover ESL’s. They sported transmission line bass modules delivering great bass.
