Best or Favorite speakers in the $10k range..
Thoughts?? I have been in the mood to try something new, change up the room a little... Yes 2 channel, just looking for ideas.
I was looking at the JWM Alyson’s, they are pushing more in the $14k range, I was impressed with them at RMAF a few years ago, and I love the look of them as well..

I think you should look into Monitor Audio and Dynaudio. These 2 brands are among the very best for 2 channel reproduction IMO.
Also I think REVEL is a good choice to dig your heals in.Dan

MSRP ~$20k. Can be found, used, for under 10. Heard them at Munich audio show in 2017. Magico's were the rage...the Crescendo's blew me away. Daughter agreed. Gorgeous build, too! Robert Lee, designer, was a pleasure to speak with. It's the speaker I may move my 1.2tl's for.

My fellow Audio Beatnik reviewer Ken Redmond recently got a pair of those and loves them.

Sweet! You can imagine, Munich High End has everything under the sun...any major name ever mentioned on CP and loads I hadn't heard of. We doubled back just to spend more time w/the Crescendo's. The Japanese tubed amps were a match made in heaven along w/a DIDIT DAC. The DIDIT was my first experience w/a purpose built DAC. Led to my PS Audio DirectStream and tubed based BHK purchases. The Crescendo's are the last piece to the puzzle but I'd need a different room for them. Will have to wait.
Larry, sorry for the slight derail.
Here's a vid on the demo and correction; it was Munich, 2016. Interview w/Lee's crew and demo of the speakers @ 4:05:

There are so many options in that price range I wouldn't even know where to start!
The great news is that there are fully depreciated offerings on the used market you can purchase, try, sell with minimal loss and possibly make gains to increase your budget as you go!
Avalon acoustics, Wilson audio, focal, usher, Joseph audio, Dali, totem, magico, magnepan, ... Literally endless possibilities! That is what makes this hobby fun!- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Aerial Acoustics 7T are what caused me to move on from my 1.2tls. Then from there came the Salks. I’d check into some of their offerings under 10k if I had the budget.

I'm sure you know this but if in CO this is where I'd go...

Pick your top 3 and go demo. Look to have a decent selection under $10k right now. Would be interesting to audition the higher $$$ offerings against your budget to see what they give up...or don't.➀Speakers: Polk1.2tl's (Uber Mods) ➁Pre/Amp/DAC: PS Audio BHK Signature & 250, DirectStream ➂Cables/IC's: MIT S1Bi-Wire/S1 Balanced +Avel Lindberg 1000VA "Dreadnought" ➃Power Conditioner: PS Audio P15 Power Plant ➄Power Cords: Core Power Technologies Gold, DH Labs Power Plus DIY w/Neotech NC-P301 & P311ends ➅Streaming: Roon ROCK on wifi'd NUC, TP-Link WAP, & Uptone EtherREGEN, AfterDark, Emperor Double Crown Clock, Black Modernize LPS, PS Audio AirLens⟿Ω☯☥☮⟿🔊♩♪♫♬♩♪♫♬♩♪♫♬ -

Here's some I liked at AXPONA. Would have to find some really good used/trade in deals on some. These are all over the map in sound...

Would consider Dynaudio. Dynaudio is friendly for swapping genre's. The newest Contour line uses the Esotar 2 tweeters that were in the Confidence Platinum series. Love the look and finish of the Contour 60's in Grey Oak.
