    From a Dodge forum

Actually it is about as functional as the original shaker from the 70s. Cold air is forced into the air filter chamber, just like it was in my 1971. The main difference is that the TB is on the front of the engine instead of the carbs on top as it was back then. My first time with one so time shall tell it dies have a massive CAI under the hood

    Love it, beautiful car.
The Shaker is a car I almost purchased myself. If it didn't have the hood pins , we would have the same car just different color. Congrats man , life is real nice with a 392. Make sure you review your owners manual on break in. The first 500 miles you have to follow the guides. I sweated the entire time but it's well worth breaking it in correctly.

Also be very careful with those tires man, they will get out from behind you easily. The low end torque is unreal and IMO can be very dangerous in normal conditions. I'm use to being able to press on the pedal to get moving like in a left hand turn, you now have to feather the throttle or do a burnout you will.

Don't bother with 0-60 times once your 500 miles are up. You will spin the tires to the point of being pointless. I'm getting bigger tires but I love the wheels. I have a deal with a guy who has a Dynamics package who upgraded to Hellcat Wheels. They are the 1320 Drag wheels. I'm gonna grab them.

Whatever you need to know about the car , break in , catch cans etc. I've been doing my homework for months now and joined 2 forums 1 for Challengers and one for Chargers.

WELCOME TO THE BROTHERHOOD OOF MUSCLE !!!!

Here is the one I was gonna buy.

Especially the Road Runners that popped up out of the hood. Those air grabbers gobbled up the air.

So will you take this on the road course or the drag strip? I ask because I’ve attended a few HPDE days at the West Palm track road course, plan on continuing once they open the schedule, and thought I’d look for you there. It’s a fun track.

I like cars but muscle cars do nothing for me unless they are from the good ole days.
