Polk Omni S6 Yellow light flashes 3 times, then nothing

I own a Polk Omni S6, one day it disconnected from the SB1 soundbar and ever since then it can't be connected to. No lights appear on the device except when I pull the power cable out and plug it back in. When I do plug it back in, a yellow light between the Play/Pause and Volume Down button flashes three times, and then nothing else happens. No white light appears above the setup button on the back, for all intents and purposes, this speaker is just a very expensive paperweight.
I attempted to:
1) Manually download the latest Play-Fi update files,
2) Put them on a USB stick then connected the stick to the speaker,
3) Reset the device,
but this does not appear to have changed the device's power up behavior any way.
I can't find a description of this issue anywhere on the internet. What does the three yellow light flashes mean? Should I be attempting a Factory Device Reset? If so, how do I do that with this device?
