Item # 3 - HP 17.3" laptop
Another nice laptop, this one will also be formatted but does have a DVD-RW drive so discs
can be used to install the O/S. One caveat - the battery is shot, and will not be included. They are readily available for about $30, but the unit works fine on A/C until a battery is installed. Comes with the power block/cable.
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

In for this one, if you please.
Mrs. H hates the Lenovo laptop she is currently using (specifically, the gestural controller/pointer thingy). I figure it would be nice to have an inexpensive ;) way for her to try something else, as she and I have very different opinions about what makes a laptop computer easy/pleasant to use. :# She likes keyboards with numeric keypads, which it appears this one has -- a match made in heaven!

    Excellent karma!

I should add that 2020's been, by and large, plenty kind to us, too (so far), so there may well be others who would benefit more than would we from this karma -- and that is absolutely fine by me! Folks at this forum have been unbelievably kind and generous here over the years (and I am deeply appreciative).

I would put this laptop to ill use as I cause mischief and mayhem across the interwebs.
You wouldn't be legally liable for damages so that's a plus. 😇

Had my daughter pick the name out of a hat, results as follows:

I'm pretty sure I have your addy John, but send it to me anyway.

My apologies to all for the delay. I've been using this unusually nice weather here to basically clean up my back yard after the insane amount of wind we had last week. Many
large branches down, and my gazebo was pretty much destroyed too.

    WOOHOO!

    I know that feel.

Looked outside on Saturday before I started with the leaf blower, though something was odd looking. Shrugged and got on with leaves.

Sunday I was driving the yard vac around and saw what was different.

Lost another tree in the lake.

    Fun.

Now I get to fish the damn thing out and will have to let it dry before I can cut it up.
