Karma (X4)

So 2020 has been replete with suckiocity (nod to Troy) for a lot of folks. But I really can't complain, as we've been healthy, both my job and my biz were considered "essential", and my wife was able to work from home and get paid full salary throughout. Even my daughter managed to land a FT teaching position in our home district last month. In light of that, I'm just trying to pay a few things forward.

OK, I was not sure how to handle this, but I am going to post the rules for all 4 karmas in this post, along with short descriptions/links, then create separate threads for each one. Each item will have it's own description, but the general rules will only be posted here. Sound good?

First, I am going to ask that you have at least 500 posts, OR be a contributing member for 3 years or more to enter. I would also like to ask that you have a genuine use for any particular thing, or at least have a close relative who does. You can enter each karma if you like, a simple "in" will do, but it would be cool to know how you'd use the item too. Rather than use a random number thingy, I will write out each screen name on paper and draw the winners that way. Oh, and even though you can enter all 4, once you win something, that will preclude you from winning again - however, on the off chance the same name is drawn more than once, I will PM that person and allow them 1 day to tell me which item they prefer. No reply means I get to pick for you, I figure that's fair for everyone.
I will let this run until Wed Nov 4th, at which time I'll draw the winning names and post the results here & in each thread.

Each item is in G/VG condition, and works as it should

Item # 1 - NetGear AC1750 router
Link is to FS thread I had here last year. I bought an AC3200 thinking this was toast, but it turned out to be the POS modem Optimum had us using. But this has been reset to factory default settings, and works as it should. Comes with power supply and a 6' CAT5e cable.

Item # 2 - Toshiba netbook PC
This is about 8 years old, but would make a good first PC for a kid, or as a backup laptop.
It will come formatted with no O/S, so you will need to install whatever software you like using USB or download, there is no physical drive. With no moving parts, this used to go between 5 -6 hours on a charge.

Item # 3 - HP 17.3" laptop
Another nice laptop, this one will also be formatted but does have a DVD-RW drive so discs
can be used to install the O/S. One caveat - the battery is shot, and will not be included. They are readily available for about $30, but the unit works fine on A/C until a battery is installed. Comes with the power block/cable.

Item # 4 - Polk Audio CSi30 center channel
This has a few minor scratches, mostly on the bottom from 16 years of use. After I bought my 75" Sammy QLED last year, it was replaced by an S35 because that fit under the screen without blocking it. I really have no other use for it, and would like to see it go to a good home instead of collecting dust in a closet.

Please, if you wish to enter, don't post interest here, use the single threads only. You can PM me with any questions though. Good luck to everyone.

So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

Very cool karma's, not in for me as I'm good on that kind of stuff. Question for you though. How do you like the S35? I'm needing a lower profile center myself.

This seems to have run its course, so I am going to close this down as of 8PM. I will post the winners once I draw the names (though one is obvious... LOL congrats to @EndersShadow), tomorrow since I'm tired now.
