I would, and did, rather spend $80K on a stereo versus a car. A car sits idle 99% of the time, while a stereo can be played 24/7. Of course everyone is different. To each their own. Enjoy the car.

80K? My system cost less than your systems sales tax.

    Ok I'm fibbing.
My system cost less than 1/4 of your sales tax.

He lives in CA -- the sales tax was probably far more than your system cost ;)

All this talk about tire widths. It's not really about the width, it's about the compound. Look up Bridgestone Potenza RE71R.

Anyway, why not just get the lower priced model, and then put better looking aftermarket wheels and the wider tires on it yourself? Guarantee the RE71Rs will out grip whatever factory tire they're putting on there.

An ex told me once "it's not the length that counts it's the width" And apparently your bank account so I found out later.

A skinnier 100 treadwear sticky compound would offer more grip than a wider 2-300 treadwear tire from the same manufacturer. But then you have to worry about chipping the sh out of your paint because the tires are so sticky that rocks stick to them and fling all over your car.

The Challengers are awesome, but they are everywhere.

If you just want a toy get a vette for the same money.
When your a car guy, you go after what makes your heart beat, what makes your blood pump and what makes butterflies in your stomach. The Challenger does all that for me and much more.
Trying to find the right one in stock locally is a challenge. The Frostbite T/A I drove is awesome I just don't care for the satin Hood Roof and Trunk. I prefer a Fully painted car with no decals or wraps on it.

I'd never spend 80k on a stereo. I don't think the benefits are there. Even for a Full Home theater system 80k is not where I build for myself.
I wouldn't also spend 80k on a Car. It's why I'm not after a Hellcat Widebody or Redeye. I think those cars are way to much power for street driving and the amount of power they have you can't use it safely on the street.

Yeah I can’t argue with that.
Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant
