    @jstas
    I have been here since 2006 so no I am not new. nowhere did I say get rid of the clubhouse if I did show me the money.

    I posted the audiocircle thread because I agree with some of it and wanted to get other's opinion not to get attacked and told to leave the forum.

    I can understand why a lot of old timers are leaving because instead of just disagreeing with someone you go on the warpath and attack, attack, attack.
    it gets tiring.

    maybe what I was thinking didn't come out right. I was replying to the statement:
    " I hate that some people feel a need to rip that community down instead of trying to find a way to fit in but what can you do? If you don't like it, don't hang around. If you do, hang around. Simple as that."

    it's the attitude, if you don't like it then leave. nowhere did I say I didn't like the clubhouse yet somehow it was taken that way.
    I could say to the people that come on and grip about vanilla, if you don't like it then leave.

    I am still waiting on someone to show me where I said I didn't like or think there should not be a clubhouse.

    It's actually hard to find a community site that doesn't have some type of "Off-Topic" forum. What brings people here or anywhere is the common interest of the site. Off Topic forums surely keep a tight-knit family closer together and adds a more "human aspect" to things.

    I totally agree, if you see a thread that doesn't interest you, don't click on it. Do people watch TV channels/programs that don't interest them?

    Being a Polk owner is almost like being a Harley owner----it's just different. I think that's why this forum has so many old members, still here. I first logged in, in 2001. I can remember the early days of Polk, as I was in my sweet spot for being a hi-fi ho. They were positioned interestingly---not really Pioneer/Kenwood'ish, not really super-high end. They were kinda tiered with Infinity, Acoustic Research, KEF, and JBL's upper crust stuff.

    Even though my last Polk speakers were owned between 1992-1994 (Monitor 5jrs+) I'm still here.

    Marv, I think it was more so your posting the audio circles take and basically agreeing with it.

    Not sure what took a dump in your cereal , the forum has been the same for a very long time. Well, minus the vanilla changes anyway. Does this have to do with Skip or Kerry ? Just asking....because something or someone has you bunched up and that's very unlike you. If you feel uncomfortable answering that, PM me.
