New York will be shutting down.

Sunday at 8pm,New York will be joining California. My drive to work Monday will probably be very easy! I’m guessing the entire country will be following suit very shortly.

For good or bad, I am considered an “essential” and will be allowed to travel to and from work and business. I guess I should be happy? At least gas is getting cheaper, paid $1.89 last night for 87 at BJs
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?

This whole week has been strange around here.

Albany/Saratoga area. Driving to work and back home has been awesome though!

However I’m officially furloughed at work for now. No idea how long, two weeks or two months. Thankfully I live below my means and have a savings account. Many people I work with don’t and this is going to really hurt them financially.

Now My official job is to home school my children!

My wife is scared of what they are going to learn...

I’m just going to go euphemistic and say Berkeley and Jensen from now on... 😂

TBT, NYC was pretty much shut down before the announcement. Some news networks that aired around the height of rush hour reminded me of when I first moved to the Carolina's. Three cars at a stoplight was considered "Rush Hour". That's the way it has looked there for about a week or so during the broadcasts.

Now, the outskirts may be a different story but seeing the more pavement than a sea of Yellow in downtown NYC in the middle of rush hour afternoon was an eye opener for the city that never sleeps.

This has been odder than odd. We are living in bazaaro land. Until such time that the USPS loses too many employees to this, the mail will go through.
