It is amazing how Korea went from 3rd world to 1st in 40 years. One generation made the decision that their kids would be better off and they sacrificed and made it happen. Something like 5% growth for the last 5 decades!________________

I can tell you this, my Telluride is a sweet ride! Who’da think it’s from Kia...
It's a very nice looking SUV for sure it might even make it on my short list. Which saying quite a bit because right now the tops are MDX, RX350, GV80 and the Telluride. -
Oh, that was also a thing for GM cars (at least; I think Ford had some peelers in those days, too) in the mid/late 1980s... our 88 Corsica, which started life a nice dark metallic blue, was half grey when we sent it on its way in 1993 (give or take). In fact, I kept a small sheet of the peeled paint as a memento mori of sorts....
In the 90's my sister-in-law had a Kia that had over 50% of the paint peel off the hood down to bare the metal unlike any car I'd ever seen. The car was not that old and had electrical problems, mechanical problems, etc.

It was actually a great car, other than the paint thing.

I leased a 16 Genesis sedan. I almost bought it when time was up. I just wanted something more "fun" and got a Mustang.
Absolutely no complaints on the car. Very comfortable ride, all the bells and whistles you need (want), and without being a sports car I enjoyed its power._________________________________________________
