Congrats! We should do this more often. I remember when the Karma thing was quite common around here. I have a B&K Ref 30 I may put up for karma soon.

OMG, it's me!!! Just got strangled on my coffee.

Jody I will treasure and take care of it just as if it had been my father's turntable.

Thank you for such a generous Karma. I like the appearance of the turntable so much. I want to say it has an "art deco" look.

I know it will sound great!

Thank all of you wonderful Polk friends for your good wishes.

Tom is right. I need a "pick me up".

My brother is in the hospital for the second time since two days before Christmas. A two week stay in December with lung issues that started with the flu on top of his already COPD illness.

Last week, I called 911 on Wednesday night and he was diagnosed with pneumonia. He has improved, but the antibiotics just don't knock it out. Yesterday, he had a Bronchoscopy to gather the exact bacteria and possibly virus and fungi infection materials. The results take up to three days to process.

Thank God, he was better after the saline cleaning that is part of the Bronchoscopy.

    Your prayers will be welcomed.

edit: I just realized how bad that looks. BlueBirdMusic said he needed a "pick me up". So I needed a pic of someone picking someone else up. It looks perverse, but that's a child's Halloween costume of a Police officer picking up an inmate.

I have had the Technics SL-J2 linear-tracker "KARMA TURNTABLE" for a week. It is a very nice turntable and I really like it. It is in my bedroom system where I don't usually have a turntable, and I have been playing it almost every day. I have never owned or seen a linear tracking table. I love the way it operates, the smaller size, the heavy weight, and it sounds wonderful.

Again, I thank Jody for his kindness. He did a lot of work preparing the turntable for operation and the packing job was superior. I will continue to enjoy its every spin. We have shared quite a few emails.

Being selected to receive the turntable has been a "pick me up" that I needed to help minimize dealing with the illness of my brother. There were several times when I really thought he would not survive. With great medical care, he was discharged Tuesday the 21st and is doing well. I have been doing "bed and breakfast" duties as he gains his strength.

Hermit, I really like the "Russ pick me up" thingamajig. I laugh every time I see it. Russ is always in the middle of everything. You have an incredible imagination. Tom thanks for the suggestion. Russ thanks for being you.

Thanks again to all of YOU for your prayers and kind words.

Harry, you are most welcome :) Glad everything is working out...on both fronts. I'm sure my dad would be pleased o:) You forgot to mention one of the best features of that turntable: the WAF! From what you've told me, she kinda likes it.

I've enjoyed our email correspondence as well. Two native GA boys connecting...who knew?!? Joe isn't native, but he's a pretty good ol' boy, too :)
