Karma: Technics SL-J2 linear-tracker turntable

Options
And now for something REALLY different, we have a turntable up for karma. Technics put out some very nice linear-tracking turntables just before CD players took off. This SL-J2 falls into that category, with some great specs.

I have put some personal elbow-grease into this beauty, replacing the tonearm belt, cleaning/re-lubing the tonearm's tracking points - the rod and trough. I also serviced the 'worm gear' if that sort of thing 'does it' for you. And to finish it off, I polished/buffed the turntable cover/lid. In all honesty, it came out very nice. It comes with original RCA connector cables, and power cable.

I found this turntable at my folks' house, tucked away in a built-in cabinet drawer near my dad's AVR setup. 'Bless his heart' is all I can say. I pulled it out, brought it home, gave it some love, and now it's ready to pass-on to a good home. I have fully-tested it.

Cartridge included is a Stanton P-mount variant with a fresh bonded elliptical stylus. It sounds very nice as-is, but I know first-hand that an upgraded cartridge/stylus can take these decks to the next level. It is T4P compliant.

I can post more pics if there is interest. No deadline date yet, but if no interest by 1/19/20, I will cancel.

Nice karma! I already have more turntables than I know what to do with, so I'll let others have the opportunity to claim it.
