Congratulations. I retired May 1, and being retired is easy to get used to. However, just got off the phone with Social Security. Something got messed up with their paperwork, but I think it’s straightened out now.

1. get reacquainted w/Janet, wife of 26 years
2. Daily pray more deeply
3. Daily pick up my guitar
4. put the finishing* touches on a couple home improvement projects
5. Get a number of less important, smaller “Honey-doos” done
6. Occasional industrial grade relaxing
7. when 4 & 5 are down to size,
a. begin to help young** struggling readers hopefully weekly
b. teach beginning guitar - helping w/a parental guitar loan program
*little non-function affecting details
**5&6 year olds
Side note: a previous owner converted the 2-car garage into expanded living space by subdividing it to three smaller rooms. In 3-5 years, return it to one big room and “convert” to a 7.7 Home theatre...

Congrats to you. I started my annual winter layoff yesterday. Being only 3 weeks away from being 64 I'm still up in the air whether to fully retire or return to work in the spring.
