I love talking health, but most don't understand how it all works. Sometimes you have to give people an analogy for it to sink in.
Think of your body as your would your stereo system.
Speakers have certain potential, we all want our speakers and sound to live up to their potential, right ? We make sure we feed them the best power, have the best we can afford associated gear and cables.
The body is the same, it has certain potential that can only be achieved if we feed it right, do the associated things that help it live up to it's potential.
Or you can think of it like a car. Some of us treat our bodies like a beater, keeps running but a lot of things don't work or need attention. That beater, if left on it's own, eventually dies an early death, just like your body if left as a beater.
Every action has a reaction, so they say.....good or bad. If your feeling sluggish, tired, things just aren't working right, that's your body's reaction to your actions. Change your actions, to change your bodies reactions. Simple, right ?
Not really, eating habits are hard to break, the bad ones anyway. Moderation is the key with bad habits. No worries when we were all younger, but as you age, as you see your friends age, and the illnesses that befall them, the wheels start turning in your head. Maybe I should start doing this or that, right ? Yeah....you should.HT SYSTEM-

LOVE liver and onions ❤️❤️❤️👌
So how do you like your liver and onions? I render down a pound of bacon, set aside. Set aside most of the grease for bacon and kale smoothies. Carmelize a bunch of onions in remaining grease, set aside. Bread then fry the claves liver until done, set aside. Add some more grease to the pan and add flour to make a nice oniony livery bacony roux. Add some milk and water until gravy is thick and rich, the consistency of infant poo. Place onions and liver in gravy and simmer for a bit. Serve with homemade smashed potatoes doused in the above gravy and canned green peas. If you have any bacon left plate and serve as I side dish, I never have any left cause I snack on it while I'm cooking. -
I was a health nut almost my entire adult life. Only ate organic foods, exercised regularly, Juiced often, only free range organic meats and I got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in 2012. Fought like hell to beat it and now it's all whiskey and cheeseburgers!Gustard X26 Pro DAC

I'm coming to your house for liver and onions.....
I normally use a little canola and butter to sautee the onions then put liver in flour to coat and fry. Yes must have peas as well. I cook up a huge mess of onions i could just eat them as a meal at times.afterburnt wrote: »@treitz3 you got me craving some liver and onions! With a strawberry compote?

Came across this gadget today. Works on the principle of positively charging the water you put your feet in, to draw out the negatively charged toxins. Kinda like a magnet. Don't know how well this works, but looking at the water after a while, is pretty frickin' disgusting.HT SYSTEM-

I've seen adhesive strips folks put on the bottom of the feet that is supposed to do the same. They come off disgusting as well. Personally never tried them.

Tom~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
So....
I got the fiber in and mixed up the fiber and the juiced drink. YUCK!
Daggum drink turned into a "pudding" of sorts. Not a bad taste but the texture left a lot to be desired. I am forcing this one down but later today, I think I will try the same but adding ice for an iced smoothy. It's so stiff right now, I can take the glass and turn it upside down....not one thing pours out.
Not my idea of a drink. Any suggestions?
Tom

Jody, I think the Breville is a centrifugal. It has a press but it just pushes whatever you put into the chute down to a spinning chopper/mesh thing."This may not matter to you, but it does to me for various reasons, many of them illogical or irrational, but the vinyl hobby is not really logical or rational..." - member on Vinyl Engine

You're being far to generous in the livers description.... More like the filter for a toxic waste dump

Are you mixing the fiber with water, then adding the juice ? You only add about 3 ounces of juice. Could be also your using too much fiber ?
Or you can just mix the fiber separately with water and swallow the juice as a chaser.HT SYSTEM-

I had a gf that liked rare liver, she was pretty psychotic. She would bite when I got her really mad.
