Bose -- the early years

So... as one will... I was 'leafing' through a copy of the Feb. 1960 copy of Radio Electronics, courtesy of https://www.americanradiohistory.com/Archive-Radio-Electronics/60s/1960/Radio-Electronics-1960-02.pdf and I was surprised to see a blurb presenting the somewhat well-known but not particularly well-documented (to the best of my knowledge, anyway) early 'fullrange driver' and (sort of) 'omnidirectional' loudspeaker designed and (at least) prototyped by the even-then MIT professor Amar Bose.
Thought I'd share it here.

Wonder if people in the 60’s just stared at “that thing in the corner”?

Neat articles, thanks for sharing. If they only knew...

I saw that too! That’s a bigger stunner than the speakers! It’s what they did before the Internet!Up

Hang it like a disco ball in the center of your room -
so... the thought of more than eight of them existing in Euclidian space is too terrifying to contemplate.
