Chemical Guys path

Hello all,
Now we are going down the Chemical guys path. They have excellent products and seem to be just a tad cheaper then the others I have been buying( Adam's, Griots and Jay Leno's).
We started out with a cool kit you can get from Walmart for #39.99. You get a really nice kit and get to try out some of their stuff.
We also picked up the waterless wash which is really a great product. For $9.99 it's probably the overall best I've used dollar for dollar. Everyone else is a few bucks more.

I've used Zaino products in the past with great results.....but, with most things, it's mostly personal preference and knowing HOW to use the products....

Also, if you don't have one (I haven't looked).....the Griots DA buffer is a must have item.

    NICE....love the 68 look.

This is what basically displaced audio in terms of consuming free time.

It's a 71 with drivetrain from a 68 88 (455/TH400)......I'm getting ready to put new upholstery on the rear seat hopefully this weekend. Trying to do the Blue Ridge Parkway hopefully in October.

Classicoldsmobile.com cool is a cool forum that I mostly lurk in....great Olds resource and great bunch of guys as well.

Sweet ride my friend. I thought about picking one of those up. I'm old school and have a 1000-3000 Rotary Dewalt Buffer Profesional grade. I use to be a detailer back in the early 90's while I was in college and I picked one up. The pads today are so tiny compared to the ones we used. But the new DA Polishers have a different way of working the spin but they are spin in small circles and wider ones. Kinda cool technology but I'm very good with a old professional wheel.

Nice bro, had a few cars in my day with that 455/turbo 400 tranny combo and loved each one. The Buick GS I had was probably my favorite though, and the looks are similar to the Cutlass anyway. Nice ride Troy, don't ever sell it.

Well, the car has been in TLW's family since the 80's......so it goes nowhere.

The Buick GS was a cool car....love the 68-72 GM A-bodies. Interestingly enough....after doing a lot of research the 455's from Olds/Buick/Pontiac were actually all really different engines. Whodathunk it......all have their pluses and minuses. All got a ton of torque though......

Olds 455 was by far the best, Buick's was respectable and Pontiacs attempt at building a 455 were pretty much a disaster, as it had bottom end and oiling issues.
