Friday fun....Who has the fastest vehicle?

I definitely do not have the fastest as my thing is an absolute beast of weight. But with the modifications I have done, it has over 400 hp
And it sounds glorious. It’s fun.

Nothing here that is fast, just fun. In order of age (and perhaps quickness):
1991 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX
1992 Dodge Stealth RT/TT
2002 Audi TT 225 Quattro Roadster
2008 Audi TT 3.2 Quattro Roadster

My 275hp lumber wagon isn't fast but it did safely transport these amps 2 states away and came back with a newer pair just last year. No speed records were attempted or set during that trip.

Thank you sir Tom!

Those meters are worth an extra 50hp... -

They probably took away that much with the 294lbs extra weight -
I think you might be overestimating the impact of 250lbs. I'm old enough to remember when 50hp used to haul 4 adults and 1800 lbs of car across the interstates.

And Jesse is old enough to remember being able to run that fast from sabretooth tigers...The Gear... 1993 Kawasaki ZX-11. Fastest production motorcycle from 1990-1998 when the Hayabusa by Suzuki was introduced . 186 mph bone stock top end. 135 horsepower stock. Aerodynamics designed in a wind tunnel . Been there. Done that. Incredible rush and stupid to do it on a country road. Still have the bike ,but do not ride it anymore. Dreaming about getting another Goldwing.
Peace. D
Very nice. I had a 92. My previous big bike was a 500 Yamaha in the 70s. LOL. The ZX-11 was intense.

I used to pdi those ZX-11’s for a dealer in 1993
That bike scared me
The front wheel would come off the ground with pure power, no clutch popping or anything.
You had to lean to turn when you took off wide open

Great model. Was the car to have at my HS
-
110 in my bogus Passat schnook car, not bad accelerating from 70 and not buring too much fuel. It does smooth out at speed not unlike the MB E class that I had.

Shack, that was a very popular model 'Stang. Fun to drive, sounded great....a little loose on the rear end but what fun they are to drive! All my bud's in HS either had this or TA's of the 79/80 era.

Years ago my father in-law (a Ford mechanic) gave us one of these as a wedding gift. It would stall sometimes when you were stopped and stepped on the gas to take off. One day my new bride and I slowed down for railroad crossing. Saw a train but it was far enough away so I stepped on the gas to cross. The thing stalled and came to a stop in the middle of the crossing and would NOT start back up. We were screaming as the train got close. Finally the stupid thing started and we took off. The next day I took it over to her Dad and said "keep it, I'm too young to die"Gustard X26 Pro DAC

@adabro That’s a very desirable car! I haven’t heard the current version, but the first ones sounded terrific.

Take it to the track, LOL!
As far as aesthetics and badassness, I'll say you won! I love the color combo!
I was just thinking about the fact that I've enjoyed cars since as far back and I can remember. Detroit, born and raised, I remember the adrenaline rush riding in my Uncle's Olds 442 in the early 70's. Man I was a young kid and he used to open it up a little sometimes. back then, it felt like he would do a wheelie, LOL!
Looking back through the years, I've never really owned a fast car. I almost purchased a Mustang 5.0 but ended up with an Escort GT. Then went on to Euro pocket rockets, then SUV's, and large family sedans, CUV's. A BMW M3, M5, Audi A7, S7 or Dodge Charger, Chrysler 300S have been a want/ for awhile.
My dream would be to drive(Not Own) something like this luxury monster, the RS7 Performance at least one time.

The design seems too busy and cluttered up front . Too many creases in the hood. I wish GM could stop trying to copy Nissan and McClaren and forge their own path. I will reserve judgement until I see it with my own eyes. Corvette has always been evolutionary... of they wanted to stick with that ethos, they could have looked to the Aerovette and evolved the C8 from there.

Not super fast. Quick enough to confuse some of the German boys saying "thats a Kia"
