    Well, in a couple of hours my sound will be downgraded for at least 400 hours :'( .
    I'm now on my last meal of sound.

    how can two speakers look identical and sound so different? when skip finished installing them i was going to wait and play around with placement later with a few drinks but someone said PLAY something. skip was in the sweet spot and i was standing to the side.

    what i was unreal, at first i thought it was in my head then my mind wondered that something had to be wrong with the old pair. i am sitting here listening now with no spikes or the gaias in place. it take anywhere from 400 to 500 hours for the mundorf caps to burn in but out the box these are on par with my originals and holy batman when they do burn in.

    to start the highs and mid range are much cleaner/clearer. bass is tighter, lower mid range and upper bass is fuller and cleaner.
    the highs are more extended, voices are well, just voices.
    the sound stage depth has increased.

    seems more upper level info is present.

    you have to drop by the house before you go to lsaf !!!!

    willie, willie, willie, you have to make the drive, we've still got some more brews to check out :D

    everyone, this is just tongue and cheek, the older versions are still in the world class air, it's just the improvements have sent them over the top.

    There are a few speakers that I truly enjoy, one of them were the Wilson’s we all experienced some years ago. I admit, Rosso, when setup correctly with all the upstream equipment. It is game over.

    At the time I was ready to get the full Wilson setup. But I went with Rosso instead. I have not listened to the Voltera yet. But I believe they are special. Can’t wait to experience it and possibly someday own Rosso again. I just need my babies to grow up a little more.

    Haha, man I'm excited to hear these! Maybe I can make the drive out next weekend. If this is your impression right out of the box I almost can't imagine what they'll sound like when broken in.

    After sitting n that very room and listening to your Usher MD2's a few years ago, I knew I had to own day a pair. Suffice it to say, I guess I won't be setting foot in that room again because my bank account can't afford an upgrade of that magnitude.

    good lord this burn in will be killer. went in last night to listen and the upper midrange was muddy and the soundstage was not as 3d and drivers did not sound as seamless.
    also imagine the highs, mids, and lows playing at three different speeds!
    sound did get a little better after a while of playing. doing up this morning so cross your fingers for me. :'(
