I want a harmony remote

Yes I’m fed up with losing the tv, dvd, preamp etc. remotes EVERYDAY. My budget is fairly limited but if $50 will make all the remotes disappear into one that’s what I’m working with.
I already went onto their database and it looks like the cheap one is good to connect to my receiver, bd, tv and p5 which would be wonderful more than words can describe. I know some people here have used them and have many praises of them, now I’m ready:-)
What I need is this to control normal functions of these components without things like Spotify, WiFi Alexa and other things like that. I appreciate any and all direction given and many thanks in advance.

Harmony 650, runs my TV, cable box, Anthem intergrated amp, P5, Marantz CDP, Parasound FM tuner. The best way to predict the future is to invent it.
It is imperative that we recognize that an opinion is not a fact. -
I very much enjoy my older Harmony 700.
The most difficult part is setting up custom functions. The pre-set activities work pretty good, but I've spent a fair amount of time customizing it so a single remote will do 90% of the functions I use on a regular basis. And I've got it set to work both the upstairs and downstairs units in almost the exact same way, IE the same buttons do the same tasks on both systems. Once it's set up it's intuitive enough that almost anybody could grab the remote and start watching something.
Another awesome bonus, the IR sender is more powerful. Works at odd angles, and at greater distance than any single OE remote.Up

Hmm, looks like the 700 is no longer made, but the 665 is the same thing, but not rechargeable and will control two more devices:

IMHO that's all you need and is well worth the extra $10 over the base 350 model, which quick searching shows is problematic anyway. I've had my 700 for years and would buy another in a heartbeat.Up

I like the 950 nut they aren't cheap, I have 3 Harmony's 2 ultimate one's and a 950 . The 950 is the best layout and operation to me. Check for factory remans but you are not going to find one for $50.My New Year's resolution is 3840 × 2160

My Harmony hub based remotes have been awesome. They work without issue and when they do disappear thanks to my 2 kids my iPhone fills in perfectly till I can find them.

I have several "extra" Harmony remotes I'm no longer using since we moved a year ago. Three of them have rechargeable batteries and charging cradles. They all work properly.
One of them is the Logitech Harmony Ultimate One
The other 2 are the same, both are the Harmony One Advanced Remote Control
If interested, send me a PM.Audio: Polk S15 * Polk S35 * Polk S10 * SVS SB-1000 Pro

I guess I should look into a Harmony since I am getting tired of dealing with three remotes.
Lucky you, I have 5 that are almost constantely lost.
Thank you so much for the fast replies! I think the 650 will fit my needs just fine and a good deal to boot.

Elite ftw
It’s the most $$ but it is by far the best all around and if you have many devices, it makes switching sources/inputs/channels/tracks etc much easier.
Hide your devices and use the hub to deliver IR signals. Color touch screen and works with smart home stuff. Plus WAF all the way. One button to:
Switch on TV, pre, Receiver, source, change input on tv, pre and receiver, gets all ready for watching Netflix or live tv etc. one button macros. -

Yes, I was thinking of my TV system that I use everyday. I use more remotes in my Home Theater/spare stereo, but I only use that once/twice a week.

I have these in both rooms:

If you have a ton of different devices this might not be the best one. But I run 5 or 6 activities (6 is the limit on the physical remote) then this is great because even if you lose the remote you can still just use your phone! And it is both Bluetooth and rf so all devices are covered. I really like them!Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es

I have two 650s,one inside one outside. All the other remotes are put away. I like the ease of reprogramming if you somehow flub them up.If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

I had a 650 but without glasses , I couldn't see the screen. I karma'd it on here and got a 350. All buttons and does what I need.

@Mr. Sharpe I have a 650 that I no longer use. It looks like new. You can have it for free. I wasn't able to find the cable to attach it to your computer for programming, but they should be available almost everywhere. Let me know if you would like it.McIntosh MA252 Integrated Amp, LUMIN D2 Network Music Player, Yamaha Aventage RX-A840 receiver, Emotiva XPA Gen3 2 channel amp, Polk LSiM 703 speakers.
