Few and far between I'm afraid. In 10+ years...

I drove 80+ miles one way for my first one many, many years ago. Rosewood.

Then just drove 4 miles last month for my second one. Black this time. :D I had to buy a Polk dual 10" sub and two F/X300i surround speakers with it though. 150.00 :p Not too shabby! :p all were in MINTY cond. too. :D
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.
  • That’s a score! I’ve wanted the cs1000p for ever, I found one on letgo, $75, but he just sold it last week! One will come my way I’m sure

Hi Dave! Posting here in case anybody else shows interest, but you have dibbs. It's been sitting around too long and needs someone to love it! I'm in Salt Lake City, Utah, happy to ship and I pack extremely well, bubble wrap, foam board, lots of tape, etc. Here's some pics of it as well as vids of it working, adjusting the volume and showing woofer cone movement. It has some cosmetic dings, the tweeter has a small divit, and scuffs as you can see in the pictures I highlighted as best I could. For some reason I don't have the jumper bars, but I'd be happy to make you a set with some 12ga cable and banana plug to banana or banana to bare wire in the pics and includes a 6' power cord. Grill cloth excellent, and surprisingly all the pegs are intact. I have refurbished a number of polk speakers before including another CS1000p as seen here, this one was even a little more beat up and turned out beautifully, ended up selling it for $250 plus shipping.

I'd like to get $175 plus shipping for this one as is, Refurbished veneer like the other one for $225.

Vid of operation, volume nob, woofers woofing:

  • Very cool! Is the tweeter being dented affect the sound? I was going to mount it without the grill, is that tweeter replaceable? My dad used to tell me if he was bad, elves would come and poke dents in his speakers 🔊🤣

Not that I can hear, maybe if you had a spectrum analyzer and compared it to a new one you might see a difference. Ive had this series of speaker open before, I’m pretty sure they’re replaceable, Maybe someone here can chime in with their thoughts on the dent, and you could call Polk to see if they’re still available.

Jeez, that's a good deal if you don't mind fixing the amps. If they were local it would be a fun project to pick up. Those sub modules are seriously impressive, seem stronger than their ratings suggest.

Wow what model are these speakers? They remind me of the RT3000p model.

    I jumped on a Craig's list ad that had a CS1000P, a PSW606 sub and a pr. of FX300's for 150.00 a few months ago. :p

He guaranteed them to all work. I tested them when I got home and sure enough, they all worked great. I've since given the pr. of FX300's to an old friend who was smitten by their shape and pristine cond. although one speakers grills were missing the logos. Obvious replacements. He's given me a couple sets of speakers over the years so it was my turn. :)

Is the CS1000P basically a CS400 with two powered woofers in it? I have never seen one for sale in our area, so just curious.

It probably is, but it’s still open to the world and let’s if people find FM sales just through google searches. Plus you should know that your flagrantly violating rules...
