I understand exactly where you're coming from when you say you're sore!
We're in the middle of a remodel in our home theater and bar. It started with the order of a new sofa (BIG sectional) and new carpet. Then it snowballed.
Since the bar adjoins the back of the theater (to the right), we needed to consider flooring in there too (both the bar and theater area had old - circa 1990s - berber carpet).
We've since torn out the wet bar (the actual bar), and then decided that we wanted to get rid of the old T&G cherry plank walls. So, that got us down to studs. Then we decided to install a new heat source, reroute plumbing, run new electrical, install new lights, reconfigure some headers, etc. FINALLY got the last sheet of drywall up last night. My wife and I (and the kids here and there) worked dawn til dusk Saturday and Sunday. My hands are killing me - torn to shreds, numb, throbbing... Getting old sucks.
Taking some time off today to get the tile down in the bar. Had to postpone the carpet installation another week so we can get the drywall finished and painted this week.
I've learned that whatever time I estimate a job to take... just triple it!
I'll post pics in a new thread later. I haven't taken many along the way.

You need a Speakman shower head with the flow restrictor removed.

I did remove the flow restriction on this ( as I do for all shower heads)

I didn't do that, house came that way---popular in Arizona. Basically they "spatter" the plaster on, allow it to set for about 10 minutes, then knock the peaks down with a trowel. They actually sell some stuff in a can, that you can practice with on cardboard until you get the hang of it. The canned stuff is for texturing drywall repairs.
They actually use this large funnel/spray gun affair, and thin the plaster so it feeds properly. I get the large "ultimate" shower head, and have used them for years. They come with easily removeable flow preventers.
