Anybody try it yet? I cannot find any details on the "improvements"

    I don't do upgrades with beta firmware. I prefer not to use my devices to test the manufacturer's firmware. Now, if Oppo wanted to send me a 203 or 205 player to participate in their beta testing program, I'd gladly do that.

    I agree with this line of thinking to a point as sometimes when your in beta , things may not work as intended which sucks bad when you just want to sit down and watch or listen to something. BUT I think beta testing is a good thing as helping brands with issues and discovering them which they just can't do every system out there.
    Having the 2nd player though would be a great idea.

    I also prefer not to be a test dummy with MY gear. I will down load most all the updates coming down to a thumb drive for implementation later as of now it is just a uni spinner for my SACD/DVD-Audio 2 ch. set up. Lately I've just been using my Pioneer PD09 and have not even turned on the OPPO in several weeks.

    If I do not down load now it may be that I will not be able to do so later so I do keep somewhat current with them.
