Out of nowhere this vertical rectangular box has appeared in the upper left corner. Clicking on the X does nothing. The bar will fill with a color and then appear to be a meter showing a countdown back to zero. This thing comes and goes....?

Turn the keyboard upside down, bang it really hard on a hard surface, watch a lot of junk fall out and dust and dirt and pray to god you did not hit it too hard....
