My favorites were Vincent Price, The Walking Dead (but I was using a pic of Ron where he was looking down at a phone and didn't get a better pic of him until later and didn't want to redo it), Beetlejuice, tomorrow's pic with a pumpkin, and Twisty the Clown.

I probably spent more time on Drew's Scream poster than any other. The pic of him was taken at an audio show where he was sitting in a chair. The pic was taken from behind and he had his head turned around backwards like the Exorcist. Bad lighting, everything had an orange shade to it. It took forever to get his head to match the others in the poster. Never did get it perfect. The other characters in that poster looked waxy, but I couldn't duplicate that without making Drew look blurry. I'm sure there was a way to do it, but I'm self-taught and not a professional. My method is trial and error.

Next year, this is going to be by request and you have to supply the selfie. It's too difficult and time consuming trying to find pics of everyone, but I wanted these to be a surprise.

This concludes "The 31 Days of October". I hope this thread brought an October smile to what has been an otherwise crappy year. If you weren't featured in this thread, I couldn't find your picture.

Oh, Listen here mister. We got no way of understandin' this world. But we got as much sense of this bird flyin in the sky. Now there is a lot that bird don't know, but it don't change the fact that the world is happening to him all the same. What I am tryin to say is, is that the course of your life, well its changing, and you don't even see it- Forest Bondurant

Would it be okay to share my "Lurch" photo on my FB page? And if so, let me know how to credit it.

Just from experimenting with making my own avatars, I found that when I resized the image myself to 200x200 and then uploaded the image to the forum as an avatar, it was much clearer than having the forum utility resize it. Plus it gave me an opportunity to increase the sharpness after sizing it down.

The H&M Creative Mischief Design Studio presents the annual entries of the... (if you posted a pic of yourself on the forum, it's fair game) Halloween thread. If I find a picture of you, you better believe that soon or later you're getting put into a horror movie poster. I only had time to complete about a third as many as last year, so you'll get two or three per week through October.

    And so it begins...

I really enjoyed your work last year.

I could use your talented poster-worthy art to keep cheering me up again this year too.

    Happy Halloween to you too.
