Omni P1 - File Format is unsupported - (media server files)

I'm getting this error for the first time after several years of use of the P1. I'm running Jriver as my media server off of a windows 10 laptop. I've never had issue in the past. Music File formats are all mp3. Started getting the file format error on seemingly random audio files all of the same type. What would cause this? How do we troubleshoot?

no issues with music services.

Adding on addition piece of information: file format unsupported is the warning on IOS Polk app device. Error received on the android based polk app says "File duration is too short and cannot be played". Guessing this is playfi related or Jriver related, but I don't why it would start happening all of a sudden. Could a Jriver upgrade have change anything?

If he provides phone support for Polk, perhaps I can call him next week when he's back. Let me know what you recommend.
