Love the Epoxy floor! I had mine done back in 2011 for 2 grand on my large 2 stall and it's held up fantastic. If ya really want to go down the custom garage rathole, check out Obsessed Garage on YouTube. I got hooked on the wall mount pressure washer vids. he posts since I'm constantly washing my cars. This is my partially installed unit.

Looks awesome! I was amazed after the guy applied mine and said I could walk on it in 30 minutes. Nothing from the big box stores will outlast the durability of it. Just don't ever put a car on jack stands with angle iron edges on the bottom, it will damage it.

The only issue I don't like with my floor is if your spill water on it or it drips from my car, the floor doesn't absorb the water. I have to to sweep it out of blow it out. A good friend had his floor done and I'll add, on his the water is basically invisible. On his water can make it very slick, I've done the water dance a time or two. In the winter I tread lightly. -
The company that did mine gave me a floor squeegee to push the water out. The other positive is the winter salt won't eat at the concrete. I thought the 2 grand mine cost was steep but the longevity has proven itself going on 11 years with mine.

I also didn't want the floor too dark where I couldn't find black bolts or screws on the floor if I dropped them. I do love the way the dark floors look.

Almost to the point where I can start moving in stuff. Right now the plan is to put the 59 Bel Air, and the 2 Harleys in there. Some workbenches, and other storage cabinets too. I'll be able to tinker around and wrench on the vehicles if needed.
In a pinch I can also put the SSR in there, but it would get a bit crowded. So the SSR will stay in the old garage, that way I'll have room in the new place to hang out too. Ugh, my general contractor got Covid! Things were kinda slow past 2 weeks, but they did finish the tilework in the breezeway (sans grout). Now I hope for a speedy recovery.
Last week I had a buddy come over and touch up the toolbox. Nothing major, just a tiny bit of rust and paint de-lamination along the edges of metal, at the bottom of the box and the lower parts of vertical risers. He ended up exceeding my expectations. Took all the drawers out, sanding and smoothing the nearly the entire front face of the lower box!
PPG paint codes were still available so it was nearly a perfect match.
I really wanted to kill the issue so it'll last, for the remainder of my lifetime!
He's coming back over this week to buff and finish up.
