    So this new may draw a bit of controversy, but I pulled the trigger just today! Cambridge Audio EVO 150!

    Being in the garage, I wanted to keep the footprint of the audio system to a minimum. Flat panel screen (I can fit a 65" where I plan to put it, 2.1 channels max, bookies, and a wireless sub)

    This guy seems to fit the bill. I've been very happy with my CXNv2, and 851N to date. This guy will be used mostly for streaming Tidal, and I can connect the TV via HDMI, and has a sub output.

    It boasts 150 WPC (Class D, I hear the love coming!), but has pre-outs so if desired I can hook up a power amp in the future.

    Plus plenty of other connections, XLR, 12v triger, even a phono (haha, yeah right TT in the garage)!

    Thanks Dog! Yeah footprint was most important, but the reviews out there so far are pretty good. Certainly man cave worthy!

    Decided to give Analysis Plus speaker cables a try. Silver Oval 2's. They'll be in-wall, but will have access ports (closed out with a single gang blank wall plate) along the routing to facilitate removal if needed.

    Made in Michigan too!

    The PVC and urethane hoses last way longer than rubber but they are more suited to use as plumbing rather than access lines. In other words, if you're going to plumb air drops with either quick connect points or reels, the PVC or urethane hoses are better to use for the feed lines going to those access points.

    PVC or urethane hoses are like pipes when I'm working outside in the cold, rubber is definitely better to work with.

    I do not disagree with John, they would work great for that. My problem is I've bought more than one PVC hose that had more holes than swiss cheese brand new out of the package. When it gets cold here in Illinois the PVC hose like you said is stiff as a board. It didn't roll back on or off the reel worth a hoot.
    My last garage l ran a copper air line around the top of my garage and had drops coming down to quick connects for tools. What can I say I like to sweat/solder copper😉 I had a bunch of copper left over from replumbing my house so I thought that would be a good use for it.

    Thanks guys. It’s been 6 months now but still stings when I think about it. I think about Rob every day. I was a total wreck back then. But now, with time, better.

    Wow no update since July! All the drywall is in, electrical, gas line, and air lines all in. Attic ladder installed. I had them put some plywood flooring in the attic for storage too. Will post pics soon! Mudding and primer next week. Garage door install after that! Getting closer!
