I think it will be more than twice as nice. No, wait..., twice as heavy! Watch your back... some AVRs don't weigh as much as that beast.

Because I found this thread and read it from the first post.

    Then,,,no more post,,,,,,,ended DEC 2018

how good was it back then? And how good do you think is it now?
Have your impressions changed over time?

It has Ken Ishiwata's signature on it, that should tell you everything you need to know. Does anything else about it really matter?

Oo, I'm so sorry for you.
If I understand you correctly, you thought it was bad sounding when new and now it's even worse.
The signature of an old man does not say much about the sound.
Not everything he did was good nor bad, sometimes in between.
Don't despair, you can probably sell it to some Marantz religious fanatic.
Thank you for your review. (Even though I had to read "between the lines").

Wow maybe you should just read the lines, your comprehension fails you. Do you just troll Marantz or are you a well rounded troll?
Reading "between the lines" I've got to say you seem to be a professional troll

I was gathering some thoughts for a formal review of the Ruby this morning. If I decide to write it, it will be published on The Audio Beatnik.

I have a lot of ideas in my head for the review and need to determine the best way to get them into writing.

But yeah I don't know why that svannie guy is such a spaz, I guess he expects me to drop everything and crank out a 1,200 word review just for him?

The Ruby hasn't left my system since I hooked it up, and I will never be selling it. How's that for a mini-review?

After having herniated discs in your back from moving that beast into place, I would be unwilling to move it again either. :p

The signature of an old man has sold more audio in many different companies than we could ever measure. Pass, Carver, Polk. Come on dude.
