2 actually... The RTA, like above, and a series 2 pair (they actually look like overgrown 10s).
But alas, I have a problem. The hunger calls! -

Not denying that one bit, but I have problems letting go, so to speak. That's how I've been able to amass such a collection. -
You, you and me thrice.
I'll say it again..The Polk Monitor 10's got me started so the last speakers to leave here I hope, are those Monitor 10's with the Peerless tweeters. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
Hoarding speakers is fun but imagine what you could do with the money to bring the most out of your best pairs if you downsized. I used to hoard but then I got a taste of what nicer gear can do and letting go was simple after that.
A rational thought, just when I was about to pounce ...

I had a set of 11's. Stupidly I decided to sell them. Best I recall I listed them at $350.00 and did not come of the price 1 cent. Dude drove a few hours to come and get them and no, they did not have peerless tweeters and no they were not anywhere near as nice as theses Jesse is selling.

If there was ever trading one pair for another this was the pair to do it for.

Maybe not as astute as you think, because he has them!
Yes, Arty, maybe a little seller's remorse... They are fine sounding vintage speakers! -

In the interest of keeping things straight and fair, Al (scubalab) PM'd me earlier today about these, we also talked on the phone. He wanted to sleep on it, so I have to give him right of first refusal. If he passes, they are Ed's.Political Correctness'.........defined

President of Club Polk -
First, I want to thank Jesse for taking the time to call me yesterday after I PM'd him. We spoke for over an hour about these and other speakers, amps, pre-amps, etc. I wanted these from the second I saw them. Always wanted to try 7's or 10's, and when these came up, from Jesse no less, I thought long and hard about them (almost too long). I'll say it was Derek's comment that hit home and I thought to myself, why am I holding onto some Monitor 5JR+ speakers when these are available. So, the 5's will be up for sale very soon.
Second, I also want to thank Jesse (and probably more importantly, his dad) for taking such care of these. I don't think anyone could possibly find a nicer pair in existence.
Lastly, I want to apologize to Ed. I should have posted here that I was talking with Jesse.
That said, these are paid for, but I won't be able to get them for quite some time (like a couple months) and Jesse is kind enough to hold onto them for me. So, Ed @mdaudioguy if you want to 'store' them and give them some daily 'exercise' I'd have no problem with that - sort of in the spirit of the way Russ (lightman) does things! On one condition... You promise to let them out of your home when I have an opportunity to get down that way to get them. There's no reason these shouldn't be enjoyed in the couple months until I can get them. -

Oh, funny story with this thread...
So, I'm sitting there looking at this thread Monday night, and Kara (my younger daughter) comes up to me to say goodnight and ask if I could lay down with her for a bit. I tell her I'll be right up. She asks, "Are you looking at your 'Nerd Forum' (what she calls it... my older daughter calls it 'Facebook for guys')?" I tell her, "Yeah, look at these speakers. They are almost 3 times as old as you are!" Her eyes got real wide and after a pause, she says "Whoa... They look brand new." I say, "Better than new. I want them." She says, "You need to get them." Aaaaaaand, that's pretty much when I decided.
The kid is smarter than her years. She KNOWS one day they will be hers!
