Be a good time to start, especially if your snagging one of the Dreadnoughts and cases in the group buy...."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Does this dreadnought you speak of only work for Polk SDA's?

Yes.....
See the links in the first post of this thread.
There is a group buy (might still be open) for the transformer here..."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
The group buy IS still open

Howdy; New member tonight. I recently bought a pair of SRS2's. They are the 1986 model. I've been reading so much my head is going to explode, trying to avoid a newbie question flame fest. I have not yet found the answer I seek, soooo..
Can these boards be used in the 1986 model? And if so, would any component values be different than the 1987 info I've been reading?
Thank you, Brad -

The 86 SRS-2s are 3rd generation, and are not compatible with the new boards.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Does anyone have a pair of 2.3 boards they are willing to part with? My crossover was butchered by the previous owner and I want to build a fresh set using the Gimpod boards.

Yeah, that is what I had heard, but I am reaching out to see if anyone was holding on to some. Thanks for the reply. My speakers just do not sound exactly right (compared to another pair) and I expect there may be either a cap value mistake or wiring mistake on the crossover. I need to remove them and take a look comparatively with a schematic.
