I'm assuming we're going to be about the same for labor as parts, give or take a little bit.

Came across this modded one recently, but it doesn't specify it was done by SigSound.

Not bad, considering the work done. Providing of course it wasn't done by Jimmy's electronics and taxidermy shop. :)

Kerry, considering the costs of parts and labor, what you paid for the Joule, you could have maybe moved up to the Joule 300 or a nice Vac. I get it though, once you find somethin' you like you want to keep it for like...forever.

Yeah, but, like you said I liked this one, and, I just wanted to see where I could get this one. I don't think the Joule will ever leave.

The new capacitors have arrived and the work continues. Standoffs have been fabricated. Can't wait until I get the email that tells me he's done.

Rich has been great about staying in contact and giving me updates on where he's at in the overhaul, but, my inner child is screaming "ARE WE THERE YET!"0qvduvsecn5f.jpg

I'd say it'll be burning in by Sunday afternoon. May be back in my system by the end of the week, maybe start of the next week. The end is in sight, finally. Gotta say Rich Brkich has been great to work with.

Rich was doing a bit of burn in on it, found one of the OA2 tubes was bad. Everything reading great. Let it run for a day or two on the bench and then moved it to the system. Liked what he heard and is going to do an A/B with the 300 before shipping it off.

Nobody deserves that, even the street.

Where he lives it’s probably a regular occurrence

I wouldn't have to worry about Kerry. Tom...carries around a whole dill pickle in his pocket and a bottle of Tequila around his neck.

I'll take my chances in Kentucky :)

BTW....if he's comparing it to the LA 300....I might join you on a naked run around the block. Good news....can't wait to hear your thoughts, after you scrape your sack of the back wall obviously.

There will be no running down the street naked this weekend as FedEx (those bastages) changed my arrival date to Tuesday. I guess good weather in the northeast is slowing them up. I cried all night when I found out!
