Surroundbar 9000 no longer responding to remote

Yes, the battery is fine.
I have a 4 yr old (or so) 9000 IHT. Just today it stopped responding to any remote commands. I've reset the learned codes (there weren't any) tried to have the soundbar "learn" the remote codes. I've powered down the sound bar. It then responded, briefly, to the remote to turn on and reset the sub level, but after ~30 seconds it stopped responding to any remote commands. (From either the polk remote or my URC).
