    Got several bottles of wine for Christmas besides a few days off work lol.

    The wife and I stopped buying each other gifts long time ago. We are better givers than receivers. However my daughter managed to find a matching decanter for the wine glasses I brought back from Italy, which was a very pleasant surprise.

    Bingo....plus helping those less fortunate than ourselves. Though I like to do that year round and not just Christmas season. Food for the soul, so to speak. Besides, like I need another pair of socks anyway. The ones I have from 1968 are just fine. ;)

    I got the go ahead from the Mrs to invest in an ultrasonic RCM...sweet!

    Actually, the best one received by any of us this year was a pillow made for each of us fashioned out of one of the shirts my dad use to wear. He passed away in September and my niece took some shirts(unknown to any of us at the time) and had them made with a note attached that reads" Here is a shirt I used to wear....give it a hug & know in some small way I am still there". She asked us all to open that gift at the same time & tears formed in everyone's eyes.
