SRS 2.3 find

I wanted to share my recent find which prompted me to join the forum. Anyway a pair of original unmoded SRS 2.3's were on my local offer up for over a month (and they were not even Identified as Polks), they were originally asking $1,200. Well looking back over the forum I was seeing that wasn't a good deal nor could I afford them at that price anyway. Long story short the guy was willing to take $600 for them.... So the price was OK but here is what sealed the deal. The speakers checked out in great shape and he had a pile of stuff he was going to throw in to get rid of Including: All original manuals and pamphlets, SDA interconnect cable, original AI-1 interface cable with box and directions, original spikes, pair of Audioquest Crystal2 Hyperlitz speaker cables, 3 or 4 pairs of nice Audioquest RCA interconnects and a Mirage BPS-400 powered sub. Don't need the sub and figured whatever I can get for the sub will just reduce my cost of the SRS's. I am really happy with them so far.

Sorry..... Forgot to ask the question are there any suggested upgrades one can do on these 2.3's that will sonically help but won't break the bank?

Welcome to the forum. As far as "break the bank"............. let's just say that you may be entering the infamous "rabbit hole". Seriously, there is plenty of help here to get your speakers back to better than new.
