I met him recently in real life. He is the one that told me about the polk forums. His wife called me to tell me he passed yesterday. I am still in awe. I will be helping his wife sell all of his equipment in the near future. I will keep everyone informed the best I can. RIP G-2. I going to miss our Audio conversations buddy, they were deep.....

Vegas its Mike with the stands. I bought the stands from him too. I didn't even need the second set, but he was going to have surgery and low on cash so I tried to help in my own little way. I didn't realize it was you that ended up with his LSI9's. Small world. Aneurysm

Oh my God! Just read this and I'm heartbroken. My condolences to his wife and family. I spoke to Geoff many times on the phone a couple weeks ago and was SO looking forward to meeting him in November when we're down that way on our vacation. He invited me, my wife, and daughters to his place to swim when I was to pick up the LSi/FX speakers.
I don't know for sure, but he certainly sounded like a fairly young man. I know he was having knee surgery. Never could have imagined this. Life is precious and unfortunately too short. -
RIP

Deepest condolences for his family and friends..

Sad news...R.I.P brother.

I was exchanging PM's with him a couple weeks ago, mostly discussing knee issues aside from small talk about gear. He said he was 52 years old and going in for a complete knee replacement. Played college level Lacrosse and then was running long distance in his 30's, etc. I think he said he had something like seven knee operations in his younger days. Now it was bone on bone and the knee replacement surgery was long overdue. We talked about his plans for physical therapy after the operation, as I've had three knee operations myself so we both knew the benefits of proper and long physical therapy. His outlook was totally positive and so it was a shock to hear of his passing this morning.

So very sad. Prayers for his family and friends.
