Pioneer SP-BS22-LR ~ F1 Signature Version

For sale, a mint pair of highly modified Andrew Jones Pioneer bookies. Pictures and mod information are in the provided link. Not counting labor I have at least $350.00 into these.

http://vintagehifi.audio/index.php/topic,3252.0.html

Unfortunately, the rear ported design doesn't work well in the guest bedroom otherwise these would not be for sale. In a recent comparison these sounded as good, if not better than a pair of Totem Mites, which cost a lot more.

I have the original box, packing material, paperwork, etc.

Sale Price: $250.00
Shipping: To be determined by location.
Payment: PayPal or check if I know you.

I believe the general consensus is the rears do not need to be timbre matched to the fronts. As to how far apart these are from SDA's I cannot say other than I'm sure they are different.

    Yes, Ron needs this.
I have dedicated my office system build to the Cause of Ron.
It is beCause of Ron that I ventured into an office system build in the first place.

I have also taken to naming my systems after the people who've inspired them and instrumental in their components selection.
The main rig, when the 2.3TL's are back, will once again be named Ba$*%@d Son of F1

Nice purchase Paul! I really wanted to buy these but had an unexpected home emergency this past weekend to the tune of $1400 so I had to exercise some discipline and hold off. I'm glad you ended the temptation! Well, sort of glad... :p

Let us know how you like them. I had a pair (stock) that I liked a lot. I ended up returning them after about a week only because they were just slightly behind my old RT25i's and I couldn't justify keeping them. I know I didn't give them proper break-in time, so they probably would have opened up and sounded even better. I can only imagine what these F1 Hot Rods sound like.

Do me a favor. If you ever decide to pass these along, please let me know. I'll call first dibs... or second if Ron doesn't snatch them first and keep 'em in the Lone Star State!

    Congrats on the sale guys!!
