I will be selling my Emerald's. Price will include the speakers, Behringer and some balanced cables. I do have the original boxes so shipping is possible on buyers dime. Prefer local sale and would consider trades. Chicago or S. Wisconsin areas. I'll have all the particulars and pics this evening.

Great sounding speaker folks. It is a lot of speaker for the $Klipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's.

I'm a bit clueless here so please forgive me. Why is the behringer needed? More or less a hq DAC?

It's used for low frequency control and room correction. The cs2 are open baffle speakers, it's used to keep things clean on the low end.
And it is a crossover as well. -
Thanks, Russ. Basically like an eq/x'over

Why are they still here? At this price, your not going to find a better speaker.Klipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's.

If they weren't so friggin wide and prone to pokey pokey by kids I mighta tried to snag em by now..."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963)

Update:
I've been in contact with Clayton Shaw who designed the Emerald's. He just developed a x'over for them so that they no longer have to be run balanced nor bi-amped. Instead of the cables and Behringer they'll come with the passive crossover's.
$600 -
Just to clarify, you already have the crossovers? They are external, I assume? Sorry to show my ignorance, but although I've read good reviews on these I have never seen them in person.
-
Yes. I have the crossovers and they are external. So much easier than using the Behringer.
-
PM sent.
-
Bump. Still available.
-
Bump. Can work out a deal if you want the Behringer, too.
I was watching a concert last night through these(have watched many times) and really couldn't belive some of the things I was hearing that I had never noticed before. These are really awesome speakers folks. -
-
Bump. C'mon people!
-
They look cool to me. My wife wasn't hip, otherwise I may have given them a shot."if it's not fun, it's not worth it & remember folks, "It's All About The Music"!!

Just wondering if these fine speakers were still available. Always wanted to try a pair.
-
Yes, they are.
-
Can you explain the whole cross over you have? Is it the upgraded one or just a passive one? And your current price is for just the speakers and passive crossover or for everything?
-
I have the CS2p
Buy these! They look like they shouldn't have any soundstage...blah blah.
But for some unknown reason....they present a detail unlike most "cabinet" speakers. -
You have no idea how much I wanted this set. The distance between the wall and amp with a speaker between is the only thing that is keeping me from getting them. Folks, at his price, you will have to spend 3x or more to get something even remotely close.Klipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's.
