Which amps are you actually using?!?!
This looks like a photo from a HiFi retail store. You might as well put a neon "Yes We're Open" sign on your front door.

Using the Cary 211fe in that one.

    Classe gives a sweet sound.

But the Boulder smokes them all. No contest.

Those are GIK... Still gotta hang them. That would improve the sound for sure.

I should've had larger 6 foot panels made but that would be cost prohibitive.

For $5K, I would look at a used Rogue Audio Hera II.

So you guys are saying that Larry secretly bought that Cary and then asked what preamp he should buy for around 5000, makes total sense I'm sure he will announce his purchase of the Cary real soon.

I'm confused. You want to be a cook? It is pretty glamorous compared to a doctor but you'll have to quit buying watches and move into a studio apartment.

With all that money he will be saving, maybe he can step up to the longer panels.

Ohhh snap! I was thinking the same thing when he stated the panel's were cost prohibitive. Good call Skipper.

I would take $1k, build bass traps and panels to fix my room first. Then I would pocket the remainder because a new preamp would probably no longer be needed.
