Preparing for a big delivery

So, I have never had to prepare for a big audio item before. Usually I just wing it and get a friend or two to help me lift the speaker or the amp and we usually survive.

But this one coming is big. Like really big.

So I had to prepare.

I bought some heavy duty furniture blankets, ratcheting straps, and this specialized stair-climbing dolly with a 550 lb capacity.

WIsh me luck.

Getting my friends to come and help me lift and push. Also made sure I have umbrella insurance in case something happens, lol.

So, you're finally buying high end cables for those poor speakers and gear that have suffered and starved for so long.....'bout time!

Joey, I'll offer my assistance if our schedules align. I owe you anyways.

And no, I will not throw the beast over my shoulder and carry it up the stairs for you. I have my limitations as well.

Crated, it is 330 pounds according to the freight ticket.

I am assuming probably 300 pounds will be loaded onto the stair climbing dolly.

    Ugh...

I wonder what kind of illness I have.
