From the article "Before treatment, the cryosauna is pre-cooled and dried, and the patient is given informed consent"
So you can die from hypothermia, suffocation, or even cardiac arrest. Sounds like a Six Flags Ride.

I have some general rules that I follow

    1. Never get between a fat lady and a buffet table
    2. Don't date women who's drawers are bigger than mine.
    3. Don't pay money to be cold.

I would cry "O! The rapey!" If I paid for hypothermia.
It sounded 30x better in my head.

I'm thinking more so rules or reasons why NOT to flash freeze your *****. I can think of a few. lol

So far, from what I gather, the same benefits can be had with cold water therapy. The difference obviously is that it consumes more time. Cryo has no regulations at all so far as to whats safe or not, procedures, etc. A woman has died from cardiac arrest in Nevada and others have had frostbite on toes and arms, skin lesions.

Point being, you have to weigh the risk involved to saving time by another safer form of cold therapy.

From the title I thought it was about crying..............which can be good therapy for some. But I wouldn't cry around -300* nitrogen.

Good sport in my younger days was to put a hollow rubber ball into liquid nitrogen, then take it out and shatter it with a hammer.

Bad sport was to do the same sort of thing but with a laboratory mouse :- (

What would PETA say? Lab rats? All those hours as an undergrad with the Skinner Box. And then there were the rat dissections for those budding neuroscience psychs (who still think they know more about "brains" than they do, lol).

Did I mention that I got to study with the foremost authority on the bird visual cortex when I was an undergrad. The woman even looked like a bird! (Brewster McCloud, anyone?). And she had "groupies"-a handful of Pre-Med students who couldn't get hear enough about the bird brain! You know, if you're an academic type and you don't have a sense of humor, you're just impossible! And I know far too many of these individuals.
