Yep that 10 watt will work just fine. Don't know why Mills dumped the 12 watt version?
Also using a resistor in series with and inductor is not a good idea if an be avoided as the resistor is a fixed DCR where as the inductors DCR varies with frequency.

EE is not really my thing. You've probably already figured that out.

Sonic Craft ran out of the 12 watt American made 2.7 ohm Mills. They still have stock on the 10 watt.

I used the Mexican 12 watt 2.7 they now offer not sure if I like them. I think the American made ones were a little smoother, might replace them.Yamaha RXA1030, Yamaha CD-S2100, Yamaha AS-2200, Bluesound node 2i

I agree, it's not good practice when used for the Lo-Pass circuit, but Polk used them extensively in the Hi-Pass Shunt for Monitors, RTAs and SDAs, and those engineers forgot what I know about Crossovers.
BTW, any Mills Resistor you order from Parts Express, is the Mexican variety.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Hello all. I finally finished the upgrades of my C1s.
I want to thank everyone for their input.
The speakers sound incredible. I was amazed.
Just terrific with well recorded material.
I did the crossovers w/ Mills & Sonicaps. Installed the RDO 194 tweeters
Dynamated the baskets and put blackhole on the rear of the upper chambers.
I noticed when reinstalling the P.R. that the surround attached to the basket was lifting
a little near one of the screw holes.
What type of adhesive is recommended to reattach?
I took an ohm reading at both the speaker terminals after the upgrades without
the interconnect cable and got 4ohms. After about a day of use I read it again with
the interconnect cable connected and it was 3.5 ohms on both.
Any thoughts on the ohm readings? Are these readings typical after the upgrades?

A rubber cement will do the trick.Any thoughts on the ohm readings? Are these readings typical after the upgrades?
The resistance (what you measured) will not change from what it was with the stock crossovers.

I didn't take an ohm reading before I dissembled the speakers.
I thought they should typically be around 6 ohms . -
